Ilze Juhansone

Ilze Juhansone is the permanent representative of Latvia to the EU. A career diplomat currently based in Brussels, she has dealt with EU integration issues since 1998. In this video, Juhansone speaks about Latvia’s contribution to European discussions, how negotiations are held between 27 EU member states, how Latvia’s interests are defended in Brussels, and tactics and strategies for good diplomacy.
