Aleksandrs Antoņenko

Aleksandrs Antoņenko is an opera singer from Latvia. He has performed at opera houses all over the world, from the Bastille Opera in Paris to the Metropolitan Opera in New York, though he began has acclaimed career as a tenor right here in Rīga. In this video, Antoņenko talks about why so many Latvian singers are international opera stars and what makes Latvians such fantastic musicians. He also reveals a few secrets of the Latvian soul.
