Andris Piebalgs

Andris Piebalgs is the Commissioner for Development at the European Commission. He previously served as European Commissioner of Energy. Prior to working for the European Commission, Piebalgs served in various posts in the Latvian government, parliament, and diplomatic service. In this interview, Piebalgs speaks about his experiences as a Latvian politician and diplomat in Brussels, as well as Latvia’s contribution to the EU.
